CQAS Annual Awards for best and outstanding performance go to Laboratories using Benson Viscometers equipment.

Benson Viscometers pride themselves on the quality assurance achievements of their viscometers. This is well illustrated by the 2010 CQAS Gold and Silver Stars awarded to Laboratories for best statistical grouping returns for Plasma Viscosity results.

Gold Star Award

The coveted Gold Star award has been presented to Hull Royal Infirmary

Gold Star Winner    Hull Royal Infirmary For outstanding Plasma Viscosity Quality Assurance returns, Elaine Boyle and Darren Brown are presented with variant haemoglobins: by Barbara Bain, and a bottle of Champagne.

Silver Star Awards

Four Hospitals won the Silver Star award and each laboratory received the book
                  "FUNDAMENTALS OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE; HAEMATOLOGY"
